ISKCON Temple built by AC Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada is one of the biggest temples in Pune. It is built in order to worship, Lord Krishna and his avatars. The Temple is made of marble. Each pillar and walls of the Temple are worth observing. Each pillar has two Gopis and one elephant engraved at their base. Consistency and accuracy are the key points in the Temple’s architecture. The gold-embossed altar doors give a stunning look to the Temple. The transparent marble flooring which glows in diffused lights make the Temple interiors look marvelous. The dome of the temple is lotus-shaped; it has a beautiful carving of Goddess Radha and Lord Krishna. The three-dimensional wall paintings on the walls of the Temple are a must watch sight.

A visit at ISKCON Temple in the midst of the marbles will make you feel at peace. Ten-minute meditation session in the main hall is conducted to relax mind. The ground floors of the Temple have book shops and some stalls to buy ‘Prasad’ and sweets.

  • The first darshan starts at 6.00 am which lasts till about 7.30 am.
  • Darshan Aarti takes place at 8.00 am.
  • Rajbhog darshan is from 12.00 pm to 1.00 pm.
  • Again the darshan opens at 5.00 pm.
  • Evening Aarti takes place at 6.30 pm.
  • Finally the last Aarti takes place at 9.00 pm.
