Appu Ghar Pune, also called Indira Gandhi Udyan, was built in 3 years i.e., from 1989 to 1992. Since 2005, Appu Ghar is managed by Pushpak Amusements.
To meet the highest safety standards, the rides in Appu Ghar are imported from Italy. The visitors, who are in lurch of peace, can enjoy the eco-friendly environment of the amusement Park in Pune. Appu Ghar is named after its mascot called Appu, an elephant. It is also known as the Mini Dinsey Land of Pune.

Facilities at Appu Ghar Pune
For easy access to the park, one can find map of Appu Ghar Pune at the entrance. There is sufficient parking space for 2, 3 and 4 wheelers. Public Announcement Systems are also there opposite to the Appu Columbus; one can avail the facility during an emergency like announcement for missing person. Every ride has a first aid kit. Also, there are two rest rooms in the Park.

Corporate Package: This can be availed by Corporates, the group should include 25 people and more. The ID cards are must.
Junior and Senior College and Coaching Class Packages: The minimum group size should be of 200 students and ID cards are must to avail the packages. One teacher can accompany the group free of charge.
School Package: The minimum group size is 25 and ID card is a must, like other packages. A letter by the School is mandatory to avail the package. One teacher per group of 25 students has a free entry in Appu Ghar Pune.

Entry fee: If you want to avoid the long queues for tickets, Appu Ghar offers a special package. For special package, the charges for adults above 4 feet height are Rs 250 and children who are upto 4 feet height are Rs 150. Else, the entry fee per person is Rs 30. You have to buy additional tickets per ride.
