Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) is the primary administration body at the local level in Pune which looks after the basic utility and other civic amenities of the residents. These utility services can be broadly categorized into obligatory and discretionary services. The obligatory service includes construction of schools, health centers, ensuring sufficient water supply to all, fire mitigation and other such services. Whereas the discretionary services include maintaining public spaces like parks, museums and community halls. PMC started Grievance Redressal and Information Programme (GRIP) in 2010 to address the customer queries and complaints regarding its civic amenity services. You can call up the grievance redressal contact number 020-66344203 and lodge your complaint. You will then get a tracking number via SMS on your mobile number to follow up on the status of your complaint.
PMC also has an online complaint redressal system for the citizens of Pune. You can register and follow up on your complaints online as well.
